Our 'Lawtist of the Week'
for this week
goes to:
The Beautiful Black 2003 William S.
Boyd School of Law Graduate Woman who
is currently the first Big Black and Asian
President of a NFL Football team, in this
case, the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022, but
she started out as a litigation attorney for
The Mirage from 2005 to 2008, was the
first Big Black to be a city attorney for
North Las Vegas from 2008 to 2016,
then she was the director of external
affairs for AT&T Services from 2016 to
2019, after which she was recruited to
join the Nevada State Athletic Commission,
the Nevada Gaming Commission, and later
was appointed as the Chair of the Nevada
Gaming Control Board in 2019, then she
also required gaming companies to do
right during the COVID era as a member
of the State COVID-19 task force, and
she has many other accomplishments,
so we give flowers and say the name of...
Black Legal History Month,
observed in December every year,
was founded by Ralph C. Winge, D.D.S.
in 2025 to cherish, honor, and show
much love to the Black Men and Black
Women Law School Graduates
who helped and continue to
help Our Beautiful People navigate the
legal systems the world over as barristers,
attorneys, judges, magistrates,
government advisors, mediators,
corporate counsel, litigators,
public interest representatives,
estate planning advocates, helpers
with immigration issues, and in other
capacities, all in a glorious effort to
obtain righteous justice, redress, compensation,
reparations, injunctive relief, rescissions,
remedies, and restitution for crimes,
unlawful/illegal acts, damages incurred,
fraud, unethical breaches, conspiracies
committed, and other defects, to make
aggrieved parties approach a
dignified wholenesss again.
